Digital Accessibility

Improve access to the County’s digital technology, information, programs, and services for County employees and the public. Also, increase the number of documents and videos accessible to people with disabilities on the County website.

Marin County IST is pursuing the following action items in support of this Digital Accessibility objective:

Training

By June 30, 2023, increase the number of County employees receiving digital accessibility training by 10% above FY 2020-21.
In FY 2022-23, create and offer two new advanced accessibility classes.

Community Accessibility

In FY 2022-23, identify and make accessible the top 5% most frequently used documents on the County website.
In FY 2022-23, identify and update the top five most frequently viewed videos on the County website, providing captions, transcripts, and/or audio description.
